“Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered, I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the Goblin City to take back the child you have stolen. For my will is as strong as yours, and my kingdom is as great. You have no power over me

– Sarah, The Labyrinth

A day of adventures awaits at our annual Buckston Birthday.  The theme this year is the “Labyrinth,” inspired by Jim Henson’s wonderfully creative film of the same name.  We chose to draw from the medieval aspects of the film.  Not only are there goblins, faeries and wonderful creatures but, there’s a quest to make it to the Goblin City to save the boy the Goblin King has stolen.  We too have a quest to make it through the labyrinth where everyone will have an opportunity to challenge themselves with fun filled activities.  There will be food, fun, singing, dancing and more!

Are you new to the SCA, or have a friend coming who is new? Never fear – we will have Gold Key on hand to garb you in period clothing for the event. There is, as always, no charge for borrowing period clothing.
